SORAN MARDOOKHI
Soran Mardookhi is an accomplished writer-director and cinematographer based in Vancouver. With a lifelong passion for film, he has dedicated over twenty years to working in various capacities on film sets, both domestically and internationally. Soran has directed a wide range of projects, including feature films, TV movies, documentaries, and commercials. Notable highlights from his portfolio include the feature films "And Thus I Was Born" and "Turbulence," the feature-length documentary "Forgotten Chords," as well as TV movies for Lifetime and TF1, which have been broadcast worldwide on platforms such as Paramount+ and Peacock. Soran is currently developing the feature-length documentary "The Flight" with the NFB. His films have been screened and awarded at multiple international film festivals.
